OH THAT'S CHELSEY

Meet the COC: Chief of Chiefs.

I call my dad the Chief of Chiefs, the COC.

He doesn’t like it, at all.

But to me, there isn’t a better way to describe how his expertise guides this place.

He knows everything and always has a plan that includes the tiny moving pieces of the much bigger picture.

When I was younger and eager to make a big impact, I would take an idea to him sure that it was checking all the right boxes. Sure that it would be a remarkable idea and make such a difference.

Every single time, the idea I had thought through deeply and considered solid would fall short. I’d pitch it to him and he would have a reason it wouldn’t work. A valid reason that I hadn’t considered.

His experience and guidance here is priceless. I feel so blessed to say we are a multigenerational operation knowing that the power in that is the mentorship we gain daily.

The way he sees this place and what we do is something he couldn’t teach us in a day or a year. I’ve been here working alongside him daily for 7 seasons now and I still feel like a rookie.

This is to my dad. Our leader, visionary and mentor. 🤍
