Farming + Parenting
Nice to meet you! I’m a 6th generation farmer and rancher working with my family in North Dakota. This is the place where I grew up and now have the privilege to raise my kids. Bringing kids to work all day, every day has been the most arduous job I’ve done yet, but having these littles along to experience the joys and sorrows of agriculture has also been the greatest blessing.
This place was homesteaded by my family in the early 1890s and means more to me than words can express.
On the daily, you’ll find me and the kids with my family on the farm. What a gift it’s been for all of us.
While this is a lifestyle I love, it’s also a business. I’m here to operate it like one and talk about the financial side of ag.
We grow corn, soybeans, pinto beans, seed oats, and commercial cattle, plus a few kids. Here you’ll find more fields than pastures which makes our way of raising cattle unique to this part of the world. Come join us – we’re here for meaningful conversations and love questions!
