I was breastfeeding and it was easier to just feed him.
It was also easier to come and go when we wanted without a daycare schedule.
When Kade was 4 months old we were in the middle of the first heat cycle of calving. He’s wake around 4 to eat, we’d drive 40 minutes to the farm then take the 6AM check.
Daycare wasn’t open at 5AM. It also wasn’t still open at 9PM when we’d come home some days.
Even if it was, I didn’t want to be away from my kid from 5-9, but anyway.
With 1 kid, it was just easier to bring him along. & now we’re here, baby number 4, easier to have him along because his snacks are already packed 😉
