One of my favorite projects to do at the end of the year is figure our finances. Granted it can be messy with selling last year’s crop this year and holding crop for next year, but I really enjoy getting to see precisely how the numbers turned out compared to my projections.
This year, my price projections were too high, but luckily I was pleasantly surprised with a yield bump that helped bring our gross crop sales in close to projections.

Sometimes simple is better and it works for us. I’ve had my eye on Harvest Profit for years now, but haven’t committed to that level of input yet.
