I don’t wear my wedding ring any more. & I don’t keep my nails kept up either.
Goodness, I like to be a girly girl!
But it’s fallen down the priority list. It’s funny because I remember seeing moms before I was one and wondering why they didn’t put as much time/effort into their outfits or hair or makeup anymore.

It used to feel weird not to wear my rings. I used to wonder if people would think I was no longer married. Now it’s normal and I don’t put any thought into what anyone might think.
It’s also freeing. I don’t worry about getting my ring caught, keeping it clean or ruining it. My nails feel fun painted, but as soon as they start to chip I feel another task on my list of getting them cleaned up. It’s freeing to take it off the list!
